Love, love love it!!! So much so that Ive had to stop buying it because I sit there eating it with a spoon until the whole jar is gone!!!

Hi There

When I first tried it I wasnt so sure after I tried it as I absolutely love Vegemite "the original" so I tried it again without butter or margarine on Rice cakes and it was amazing. I found it to be smoother and creamier version of vegimite. "I think it is a definite yes and should be called Cheesymite or Creamymite"

I like the new vegemite I am not a traditional vegemite eater i think i had vegemite overload as a child who had to make my own lunches. Many vegemitearians just loll around the food isle where it is sold . To prevent civil unrest and riots in the super market vegemite shoud have a totally new name I choose Cheeseymate because thats what the product is the cheesey mate of vegemite.

sorry but i am not that keen on the new vegemite.does not have that good old vegimite bite to it and quite frankly the color looks like something from a baby,s nappy.was this thought up by the yanks?

name me is much easier to spread but nothing beats heaps of butter and good old vegimite smothered on hot toast... mmmm got you thinking about it now dont i???

Still not sure. I cant quite get what it is. If the colour was the same as the original it might not be so iffy.

Ive bought the new vegimite and all my family and friends have tried it , We all agree we like the strong taste of the original and dont like the new one. Those family and friends who dont like vegimite , dont like the new one either because it still tastes like vegimite.

Its pretty hard to beat the original however there is certainly a place for this in the market and now you can appeal to a much broader market. I thing the name should be Spreadgimite.

Last night I had 2 slices of toast 1 with Vegemite and 1 with Name Me. I think I prefer old fashioned Vegemite as it has a tangier taste but still quite enjoyed the Name Me as it is has a mellow creamy taste which would probably suit a lot more people, children included. How about "More Vege mmmm"
